With the spirit and versatility of artists like Beck, Animal Collective, or Tom Waitts & the creative spontaneity of Reggie Watts or Jonathan Richman, TJ Grant entertains with stars in his eyes and ignites our cold hearts with a juicy abundance of romantic idealism. There is something in TJ’s electric spirit that emits a ‘something’s-off-here’ quirkiness — likely a result of growing up isolated in the forests of Washington State — that keeps us curious with his every inflection.
